Roof Tile & One Mile of Wire

They loaded the tiles onto the roof this week. The tiles weigh about 3 or 4 lbs. a piece. Anyone care to venture a guess on how much weight is sitting on the roof? Glad it was them loading them on instead of us. We hope our house doesn't sink.

Here is another hint.
The electrician has been busy wiring all the canned lights. He said we would have about a mile of wire when he is done.

He also reminded us that, like everything else, the cost of wire has gone up.

This is view of the kitchen,

We have been very busy with other decisions this week but have nothing to show for it. I guess that is part of the process.

The weather continues to be sunny, although throughout the week we had a few snow flurries, and a little on the ground one morning. While standing in the sun it is quite nice.

Michelle continues to run as she is training to run the Pear Blossom race (10 Miles). Pears don't blossom but that is what they call the race. It really is quite an event. There are about 2,000 contestants so she has her work cut out for her. We hope she finishes. If not, Larry and Bonnie next door have a big party after the race so that should be fun as well. (They may have to rename the race in about 5 years or so as they are taking out all the pear trees here and replacing them with grapes)

See you next week.
