Sunrise at Johns Peak
We have officially been in the house a week. Luckily, we made it in before old man winter decided to deliver another round of snow to the valley.
We had about 4-5" on Friday and have had more over the weekend.
We are still in the unpacking, where did I put x ?and why the heck did we keep this stuff ? mode. Thanks to Craigslist we sold some speakers, a washer and dryer and other old stereo stuff.
Life in the country is great. The other evening, while driving up the hill, we encountered three skunks (sorry, no photo). It was dark and they were just scampering up the road with tails positioned distinctly for defense. Gary kept the car at a conservative distance not knowing how far they can shoot and/or what it would do to the car. I guess they normally like to hang out in culverts. I wonder what Gunnar and Karl would think if they saw them? Luckily they didn't.
It likes to snow sideways on the hill.
"Stop taking photos and come out here and help me cover up this damn geranium ."
I guess it's time to go furniture shopping.
Gary working on the final bill. Is that a smile?
